Grynlume is self-hosted web analytics for people who want to know what is working on their site without building profiles of the people who visit it. It counts visits, pages, sources, goals and funnels, shows the site live, and lets you drag through a day to see how traffic unfolded.

It is a single Node.js process with one SQLite file, written from scratch with no framework and no build step. The tracking script is under 2.5 KB, sets no cookies and stores nothing in the browser. A visitor's identifier is derived from a secret that changes every day, so nobody can be followed from one day to the next.

Who makes it

Grynlume is built and maintained by Thorsten Meyer in Iffeldorf, Germany, and published under the Thorsten Meyer AI studio. The name joins an Old Norse root for "clear" with lume, light: the point is to see your audience plainly and nothing more.

How it is offered
